The activities of the second course   “Celebrating the Harvest – Food Preservation Techniques and the Traditions of Harvest Feasts” were organized on the 10th, 17th, 24th September and the 8th October 2014. The learners tried the recipes for Hungarian Apple Pie, Hungarian Sour Pickles, Turkish Dry Soup, Gaspacho –Latvian style, Latvian Rhubarb Pie and Quickly Salted Cucumbers, Finnish Rowanberry Jam.  The participants of the course also shared their  best  recipes, baked  a potato and zucchini kugel, a  carrot pie, cooked stuffed patty pan squashes and a pumpkin soup together.
