On the 6th of May,  we invited our project learners to participate in an educational activity  how to use wild plants for preparing food and beverages. A lecturer Rasa Buslavičiene from "Žolynų namai"  invited the learners to make and try nettle and lime leave pancakes,  fried hop shoots, burdock root and mint leave drinks, porridge with nettles,  salad with daisies, dandelion and other wild plants that we  call weeds. The good news is that our learners have decided to share the acquired knowledge and skills  -  they will  set up a restaurant Žoliautojai  on the 16th May and prepare dishes and beverages  from some of the aforementioned edible wild plants to surprise  Pakruojis town community members.
